RESOLUTION #8-2024
A RESOLUTION OF THE SNAKE RIVER WATER DISTRICT CONCERNING THE CHANGE OF RULES AND REGULATIONS SECTION 3.3.4.
 

WHEREAS, the Snake River Water District (the “District”) was formed pursuant to §§ 32-1-101, et seq., C.R.S., as amended (the “Special District Act”), by order of the District Court for Summit County, Colorado, and after approval of the District’s eligible electors at an election; and
 

WHEREAS, pursuant to § 32-1-1001(1)(h), C.R.S., the Board of Directors of the District (the “Board”) shall have the management, control and supervision of all the business and affairs of the District; and
 

WHEREAS, a hearing was publicly noticed for the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board for November 12, 2024, and notice of such hearing has been posted as required per District bylaws; and
 

WHEREAS, at such public hearing the Board has heard all evidence and testimony regarding said regulation proposal, and in the exercise of its legal discretion, the Board has determined that approval of such a change is in the interests of the District and its constituents.
 

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Directors of the Snake River Water District, Summit County, Colorado that the following regulation related to charging user fees of the Snake River Water District be changed accordingly to be as follows:
 

3.3.4 A Tap Fee shall be charged at such time as a building permit is obtained. User Fees shall be charged on a quarterly basis once tap fees are received from the Owner. User Fees shall be based upon total EQR as calculated pursuant to Appendix “A”, “Rate Schedule” and the “Application and Permit for Water Service,” times the base charge for one (1) EQR, as set forth in Appendix “B”, “Fees and Charges”.
