We have been notified by the contractor on the LPV Project that the work will not be completed by September 30th. Their new estimate is October 14th.
We apologize for any inconvenience. The project is being conducted in phases, and the first group of houses have been connected to the new water mains. The second phase construction is complete, and the sign-off for lab testing is expected this week. The final phase is underway and should wrap-up in the next three weeks.
Our team is working hard to improve the water system for the LPV neighborhood. This pipeline replacement project was a very high priority as defined by your engineers. The residents have experienced numerous water main breaks over the past several years because those pipes were constructed in the 1950s or 60s and inherited by our water district from the now defunct Loveland Pass Water District.
We appreciate your patience as we complete this important upgrade project.
