Board Minutes July 17, 2025

The Board of Directors of the Snake River Water District (SRWD), Summit County, Colorado, met at the district offices at 0050 Oro Grande Road and via online Zoom conference on July 17, 2025, for a special meeting. The meeting was called to order by Scott Price at 4:00 p.m.

ROLL CALL

The following members of the Board of Directors were present at the meeting, constituting a quorum: William Bergman - President; William Bowerman - Vice President; Randy May - Treasurer; Stephen Bushkuhl - Assistant Secretary; and Scott Thisted - Secretary. Also present: Scott Price – District Administrator; Ron Mentch – Superintendent of Operations;  Glenn Porzak - Attorney; Mirko Kruse - Attorney; Donna Svenson – Financial Manager; Tom Oberheide - Water Engineer.

Review and Discuss the District's Complaint Against the State and Division Engineers

Mr. Price stated that the objective of the meeting was to evaluate the state's offer of a settlement. Mr. Bushkuhl made a motion to move to Executive Session. Mr. May seconded. It passed unanimously. 

When the Board returned from Executive Session, Mr. Bushkuhl made a motion to accept the state's settlement offer and authorize Mr. Price to execute the agreement. Mr. May seconded. It passed unanimously.

ADJOURNMENT

Mr. Bergman made a motion to adjourn. It was seconded by Mr. May. The motion passed unanimously. Mr. Price adjourned the meeting at 4:45 p.m.
